Dear Mom and family,
I'll answer mummy's question(s) first.
So how are things going with you, Sis. Koford, and your investigators?
Not so good. Our investigators are getting low and we haven't really found good solid ones in the past few weeks. It's hard, it really is, but we're still pushin' on.
Is anyone progressing (Jessica) or have you found anyone new to teach?
No. Jessica's date dropped, she isn't living the law of chastity, and last time we talked with her, she was kind of hostile. I don't know if she's been offended or what.
Got any zone or mission conferences coming up that you're looking forward to?
We had interviews last week, Friday to be exact. The Paducah 5 had a short zone meeting after that. Do you like the name our zone has? I quite like it. This is the smallest zone I've been in, and yet we've had more get-togethers than any zone before.
I can't think of any good questions to ask you right now, so here's a lame one--how's the weather? It rained here yesterday and we are finally getting some of the ice to melt. It's really great! Although some of the early rain yesterday came while it was cold enough to freeze it, so it was a little slippery walking to church.
Cold, dark, and dreary. It's starting to rain here too. I wouldn't really mind the rain, but it's either freezing rain, or hot 'n muggy rain. I don't like either, but nothing stops missionaries, we're kinda like mailmen, only we still work on most holidays.
So, this week has been hard, because of the weather, no one would like to see us. The only ones who do are members and for numbers they no longer count. I don't know how we ever got our numbers when we did include our member visits in the amount of total lessons. There was one time this week where we went tracting in the morning. It was freezing! We only lasted 30 minutes. No one wanted to see us. Well time’s almost out so I'll talk with y'all next week.
